DBT day treatmentThe DBT Therapy West Los Angeles’ day treatment Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program allows you to remain comfortably at home while receiving intensive DBT treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), depression, anxiety, and other psychiatric disorders.

Our DBT day treatment program is for women or men who are transitioning from a residential treatment program or who need more structure than an outpatient treatment program or private psychotherapy. Our day treatment DBT program is also an effective alternative to residential or inpatient DBT treatment.

DBT Treatment at the DBT West Los Angeles

Clients in our DBT day treatment program participate in DBT skills groups daily, two or more individual DBT therapy sessions per week, and DBT phone coaching. Our intensive DBT program runs five days per week, six to eight hours per day. In addition to DBT treatment, the center provides a host of other therapeutic services, as well as the support and structure needed to help you make a complete recovery from Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) or another psychiatric disorder.

Treatment at the DBT Center of Los Angeles’ day treatment DBT program is led by therapists specifically trained in the DBT model. Through individual DBT therapy, DBT skills groups, homework assignments, and phone sessions, you will learn healthy coping techniques that will help you make a lasting recovery.

At the DBT Center of Los Angeles, your DBT day treatment program will be individualized based on your specific needs and your prior treatment experience. It will also be based on assessments provided upon admission to our DBT program, including a bio-psycho-social assessment, psychiatric assessment, nutrition assessment, and psychological testing, as needed.

Your trained DBT therapist will help you develop an action plan to help you make a successful transition back into your everyday life. Our DBT day treatment program supports a gradual re-emersion into the family, social, educational, and vocational systems that help to create a full, balanced life.
